Mastering The Art Of Team Building

In the last twenty years or so, teamwork has become increasingly significant. Most organizations today use a work model that is based on multiple kinds of “formal” and “informal” teams.

Given this development in the work world, team-building skills have come to be an essential part of seeking that new job or that promotion into the next level of management. After all, studies as well as real world experiences have shown that a group of people working as a team can generate much more productivity than the same group of people working individually.

So how do you become a team builder? How do you master the art of team building? How do you get the members to work effectively as a team? All of these skills are necessary to lead your team successfully and to master the art of team building.

-Communication. Efficient teams are created when every single member is free and able to share his/her thoughts and opinions. The decision-making process for a team must be dialogue based, not dictatorial. Good communication also involves active listening among team members and the ability of the team members to value the opinions of the others.

-Trust. All good teams are based solidly on trust. Every member of the team must be able to trust every other member to do the required work and to be an active and productive team member.

-Clear Goals. A team needs specific goals to function effectively. Team goals must be specific, decided after discussion, and must have a particular time limit.

-Progress Review. Goals by themselves are not enough in the absence of regular progress reviews. New information or even actions taken towards achieving the goal can sometimes end up affecting the completion. Teams need to conduct regular internal checks that include all team members to review the progress that has been made so far and to work out any problems that may have arisen.

-Cooperation. Each team member has to find some way of collaborating with every other member of the team. Personal accomplishments will shine through, but cooperation, not competition, is the key to team building success.

-Professionalism. Of the many individuals in a team, some are bound to have personalities that clash with each other. Team members have to be willing and able to set petty differences aside, working together with the others to achieve the team goals.

-Differences. Diversity is an asset. It often brings in new and differing ways of looking at the same issue, thinking about the same issue, and developing new ideas, all of which combine to give the team a better chance at making good decisions. Team members must be comfortable with and should revel in individual differences while respecting the value that each member brings to the team through their differences.

-Enthusiasm. Team members must be able to jump into the team process with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm helps each member to feel like a part of a vibrant.

-Collaboration. Efficient teams have members who each play a vital role in the completion of the work. Each member of the team must feel that they play a vital role in the sharing of the work and each member of the team should be held accountable for his/her share. Individual accountability is a large part of sharing and teamwork.

-Clear Responsibilities. Every team member must understand their role within the team and the importance of their share of work to the team as a whole.

12 Steps for Overcoming Procrastination and Reach for Success

Avoidance, procrastination, overwhelmed, perfectionism are all the daggers in the heart of efficiency. Use the following tips to overcome procrastination in your life.

1. Write it down, Write it down. There are many details that you have to remember in any given day, why should you try to keep it all in your memory? At the very moment that you remember something needs to be done, the very best thing to do is get it to your memory device. Then, just when you need to recall it, it will be available for you in an instant.

2. There Can only Be One! Keep it all in one place. Once you have developed the knack of writing everything down, your next step will be to keep your writing/recording it all in one place. Otherwise, you are going to spend valuable time procrastinating. Notice as you tend to search for your notes, you conveniently procrastinate more as you engage in a number of elaborate preparatory activities, all along you are avoiding success.

3. Stay fit, stay healthy. A keen memory is a well-nourished mind. Eat healthy; get plenty of sleep and lots of good exercise. These will all see you through to having the energy to do more and to having a good memory that stays focused and alert.

4. Get it out of your head. Record your every thought. You might find yourself driving when a good idea comes to mind or you might recall something that you really need to write down. No need to pull over and start writing, record the idea instead on that wonderful MP3 player or IPOD that you received for the holidays. If yours does not record, well get one! This way you will be better organized and it is safer then digging around your bag for one more electronic device. Use your handy recorder to be your second eyes and ears.

5. Deliver advance warning. Step into the future and call ahead to yourself. When you are at the office and you want to do something when you arrive at your next destination, call ahead to your answering device and leave yourself a message. Better yet, if you have the new VOIP (voice over internet or cable services, your messages are with you all day. They follow you; hence you have another organizing tool to help stop the procrastination. As soon as you get to your destination, you can listen to your message and execute on what needs to be done ASAP.

6. Have confidence in yourself. Avoid the perfectionist mode. Not everything has to be perfect. You will notice the world is very imperfect and it has survived. If you keep thinking I am forgetting something and saying you have a bad memory, you will probably continue to have a bad memory and you will do nothing. It is important to have a motivated, I CAN remember and I CAN DO success attitude. Remember, some procrastination is purely a lack of self confidence that is being covered over with the perfection syndrome. You end up feeling you can’t get the job done, so stop the excuses and have faith in yourself and stay motivated.

7. Build email reminders. You can type in what you want to remember, such as a buy milk reminder versus the reminder to buy Christmas gadget for your nephew, or special event. You will receive an e-mail reminder when the date is approaching. This is a terrific way to jog your memory by using internet technology.

8. Love those sticky notes. Want to remember something prior to leaving your home? Just mark it down on a Post-It Note and stick it to the inside of your door. Get the ones with the bright, neon colors; post them where you have to see them. Need to make an urgent call first thing in the morning? Leave a Post-It Note on your telephone. Need an oil change, need to pay a ticket; leave a Post-It Note on the windshield.

9. Create Visual memory joggers. Visual reminders will help you remember and stay focused. Use visual reminders for remembering your goals. If your goal is to take a trip to a Barcelona or Tahiti in a few years, keep a magazine photograph of Barcelona right on your desk or on your refrigerator. If your goal is to lose 25 lbs. in five months, maybe a current picture of the successful new you or for some of us the old de-motivated you is motivation enough to stop the procrastination and move towards your goals.

10. Use timers and alarms. Take advantage of all the electronics that you carry with you. Who doesn’t have an alarm on their cell phone? Do what I do, set alarm clocks and timers throughout your day. Have a 30 minute activity; make sure it doesn’t run over its allocated time for the day. Want to leave for the ladies luncheon by 6 p.m.? Set your cell phone to beep a few minutes before it is time to go and jog your new no procrastination mindset. Make sure you get to the next activity on your schedule.

11. Multitask better. Not enough time in the day, but you need to get more done. The key to successful multitasking is to plan two activities in advance and avoid giving precedence to more interesting, easier, and less urgent tasks. Look at your to do list and combine activities. When going up stairs, take something, there is always something waiting. Do your laundry and exercise. As mentioned in step above, set your alarm and create your wash and exercise period of the day. The key is planning not random multitasking.

12. Do not forget time is money. Time is a precious commodity so remember that the reason we work is to use time to make money and feel a sense of accomplishment. Stop waiting until the very last minute to start working. Why not make the most efficient use of time and improve your chances of making more money in less time. Why self sabotage you? Procrastination means you are being inefficient and therefore stopping yourself from reaching your goals. Build success through the use time and money will follow.

Learn to use your mind, your friends and your colleagues to help you stop procrastinating. We need to force ourselves to use the tools and technologies of the day to help support us in reaching our goals.

We help with your success!

How to Connect Successes and Build Success Momentum

Do you know why “Success breeds success?” Success is accumulative and attractive.

Besides the money, recognition, and feeling of accomplishment, every success experience serves two purposes. It adds to our sum total of success just as interest compounds within a growing nest egg. Each success adds success and then some. It’s the “and then some” that accumulates and dramatically builds momentum for future successes.

Also, every success experience acts as a magnet. It attracts all that is necessary for future success experiences. Taken together, the accumulative and attractive functions of success build success momentum.

Here is a technique I designed that harnesses your success experiences and builds success momentum. This empowers you to leap forward to greater and greater success.

Take a deep breath. Elevate your gaze as if looking at an imaginary point just above a distant horizon.

Call to mind a success experience. Let your creative mind find one and see it in your inner field of vision.

See the scene of this experience as if through you own eyes. View this success experience from the point of view just behind your eyes.

This success experience can be from any time of your life and about any subject. As long at it makes you feel successful, it works!

Using that feeling of success as a guide, let your mind recall another time in your life when you felt the same feeling of success as you did in this experience. Again, see the scene of this experience as if through your own eyes. And let the mind draw any success experience to you without regard for your age or the subject matter.

Notice the feeling of success that this experience generates in you. With this enhanced feeling of success as a guide, repeat the process.

By now, your creative mind has recalled three mental images of success. In you mind’s eye, see each one again as if seeing them in a slide series. Now run the slides faster. And run them faster still.

Notice how the feelings of success blend together and expand mightily. Run this success sequence a few times at high speed. Remember that your mind can do this much faster than you can read these words.

What you feel is success momentum.

So what are you waiting for? You’ve got success momentum going for you!

Go do something that’s even more successful!

People use search engines in order to look for information on a variety of topics. Ranging from a review of a specific product to details about a holiday resort, the Internet has become the source of information. Many people are prepared to pay for this information for various reasons. Firstly there is a higher perceived value for paid material. Many potential customers will not even look at your free information, as it is perceived as being cheap and lacking. There is a large market that will only buy information that the author feels comfortable to charge for. Here is the key: If you know what people are looking for then all you need to do is create a product and market it. Plain and simple. And, this is easier than it seems as long as you follow the next two steps.Step 2: Learn only from real marketersReal marketers are aware of which niches are profitable to go into and they are aware of the marketing strategies needed to succeed in those areas. You need a complete plan. The problem is that there is so much fluff on the Internet today even in the real business world of information marketing. There are people who claim that they can make you rich if only you follow their systems. They claim that they can teach you how to create a product and market it as well. With experience, I can tell you that many of these “marketers” are not telling you the entire truth. Many of these systems are selling you the dream. But they lack real informational value. They merely want to take you to the next level of purchase. It often turns into a never-ending circle of buying. Now, don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that you should not buy e-Books and other products online. Do your homework and make sure the person or company you want to buy products from are real experts and NOT self-proclaimed experts.Step #3 -Find out who the real marketers areThere are some great marketers out there. The problem is that in order to employ them you would be charged anywhere between $500-$2000/hour for their services. Most people starting on a small budget cannot afford such high prices. Fortunately, a low budget alternative does exist. There are teleseminars available that offer advice from some of the best-known marketers often for free.Teleseminars make sense for marketers as they get exposure to a wider audience. The audience wins because they receive some fantastic training from marketers who often reveal some of their best information. If you want to succeed on line then you will need to receive an education from true marketers. Before buying any material, you will want to review what is being offered. One of the best ways of doing this is through a teleseminar. If you follow these steps, you will build a successful information marketing business online. Team Building - The Route To Accelerating Your Business Development

To accomplish the overall objectives given to them, your ‘team’ must be unified and know where they fit. Above all, they need to be clear on the importance of the overall team’s performance, to the final result of any project.

Team Building Is Vital To Achieve Corporate Goals

If your company objective is the usual one, typically increased profits, team-based organizations can help you get there. There are specific ways to evaluate and improve your team building skills.

For instance, executive leadership must communicate their expectations of their team. Team building is not possible without clear and concise communication. As an example, is your team equipped with the appropriate resources to meet their goals? How do you know?

How do they get through to you when they need support? Included in the communication necessary for effective team building is discussion and interest showed by the leadership.

Get The Right People On The Team

Another important component to team building success, is ensuring that your team members fully understand why they are on the team and how they can use their individual skills to improve the team’s performance. Assess their interest in participating, do they feel the mission is important and do they feel they will be better for it?

Team building requires that the team feels that there are competent individuals on their team.

This trust is an important first step to team success. Do they understand the importance of collaboration and the group process expected of them? Are they clear on the role they each individually play in the success of the team. You must offer all team members a clear path to provide feedback.

Show Your Team You Recognize And Care

If you want team building to work for your organization you must be able to demonstrate that you value employees who take reasonable risks, unique solutions and creative thinking. If employees feel that rewards are in place only for workers who keep up with the status quo, don’t expect much more than that.

Successful team building requires that all team members recognize their accountability as it pertains to the overall success of meeting goals.

Team building can do wonders for your employees and your business, whatever it is. Employees who really feel like they are part of something special will give back by ‘owning’ their part of the organization. Spend the time and the money, if needed, to train the people in your organization to operate in the team mind set.

Reward teams accordingly and if they do not reach their goals ramp up the training. Keep the lines of communication open and the goals clear and concise.

Generally your employees will surprise you with their willingness to participate and when given the right tools and the appropriate resources you will probably be surprised at the results.

Team building is worth your time and it is the future. The traditional way of operating is becoming obsolete in the face of the results of team-building. Maybe it’s as well get on board now and start developing the necessary skills, in yourself, to incorporate team building skills throughout your organization.

Actually, blog online marketing is not all that hard if you know what you are doing. First let me just say that marketing your blog is going to require patience, and being consistent.

READ THIS: If you are looking for how to build successful and profitable blog online. I am sure that those tips in this article will help you get the ideas of how to setup your own blog in the right way.

Here are some great tips to use when trying to get your blog out there and get new readers. You’ll discover workable tips and secrets of how to build successful blog and earn money with your blog.

1) The first key for your successful in blog online marketing is to update your blog frequently. We can not put enough emphasis on this tip. If you tell your readers that you are going to update your blog daily, then do it. If you tell them that you will be writing in your blog weekly, don’t let them down. Your readers are what make your blog successful. You may not realize this in the beginning, and you will have few readers in the beginning as well, but you will eventually build a readership base and have people checking out your blog regularly. Maybe you do not plan on telling your readers how often you will update your blog. That is ok too. However, think about this, if you were reading a blog on a weekly basis, and you expected to see the blog that you like to read updated at least once a week, you would be very disappointed to find out that it was not. Sure, things happen that might prevent you from updating, and that is expected, and excused, but week after week can hurt you and cause you to lose readers.

2) You are going to want to be sure that all of your posts are formatted. Doing so will leave out any confusion for the search engines and you will have everything nice and neat and all organized. The label tags are there for a reason when you are dealing with blogs. So using them and not leaving them out is a great idea.

3) I would recommend you to ensure that your blog has the track back feature. Let me tell you why. When you have the track back feature on your blog, you are allowing other people to link back to your blog. Maybe someone has a post to post on their blog that is relevant to one of yours. They can use the talkback to your post, and send their readers to your blog so that they know what they are referring to. Another good thing to remember is that if someone gives you a track back, it is a courtesy to return that to their blog if at all possible.

4) Having a Google account and submitting a sitemap is almost a must when you are blog online marketing. Doing so will allow Google to know how often you are updating your blog and they will automatically know of any changes that you have made to it as well. This will let Google get those new pages indexed faster and get them into search results much quicker than if you did not have the sitemap. There is a certain way you have to do the sitemap for Google, and they can explain that to you. Just know this is an important step to blog online marketing.

5) Exchanging links with authority blogs and websites that are in your same market is another great way to get the word out about your blog. The authority sites are going to have a higher page rank, and will also be listed high in Google’s search results. So do some searches and check those out and see if they are up to exchanging links. If they are not, you could always just add those into your blogroll. You do not need permission to do that if they are not into linking. However, in the world of blogs, most blog owners are thankful for all links, and are willing to return the favour.

6) Tracking is another part of blog marketing that is so very important. You want to be able to track your visitors and clickers to know where they are coming from. You want to be able to tell what keywords they searched on to find your blog and where they did their searching. Doing so will help take out all of the guess work when it comes to blog marketing. You will know what keywords are working, and which are not.

7) Allowing RSS feeds from your blog is also another great blog online marketing tool. You are going to find that when you allow RSS feeds, your blog is going to end up all over the internet with a link back to it and that is a good thing. This is a wonderful way to get links to your blog with little or no effort. People that subscribe to your blog’s RSS feeds are able to then post your blog posts on their sites or blogs. This in return gives you a link on their site or page that they have you on.

8) While you are working on your readership base, and trying to gain readers, you are going to find that commenting on blogs that are relevant to yours will surely help. Find a blog that is on the same topic to yours, or close to it and leave comments. You can also make a track back with your blog postings to comment on your own blog. Doing so will probably more than likely give someone else the urge to track back to your blog. This will be good for it as well. Commenting on blogs that get many comments will make your blog seen by those interested in that market. You will gain traffic and readers that way, and it is easy as well as free.

9) Learn and apply SEO to your blogs. SEO is search engine optimization. You are going to find that if you want your blog to go anywhere, you need SEO, and you need to know how to use it to the advantage of your blog. Just like a website, a blog will be better off optimized.

The Secret To Internet Success - 3 Vital Elements Of Building A Profitable List?

Is the secret to internet success building an email list of people interested in your niche? If you asked any internet marketing ‘guru’ you’d probably find that the answer would be a resounding yes!

The main problem facing new marketers is in understanding the following 3 vital elements of building a list. If you crack these 3 elements then you are on your way to internet wealth and riches!

1. How to get your list in the first place.

Assuming that you already have a website up and running and operate in a particular niche the first thing that you’ll need to get is an auto responder. There are a number of ways that you can do this, the easiest being to use a paid service.

To get people to subscribe to your list you will need to use a web form that your visitors fill in to become subscribed. The most effective way you can accomplish this is to use a squeeze page. Your squeeze page should be as simple as possible with an incentive for those that subscribe to your list, such as a free guide or e-course.

You simply drive traffic to your page and not the main page of your site and track the results. One of the best methods you can use to obtain this traffic is through a bio box at the bottom of an article you have submitted to an article directory. The reason you’ll get good results this way is because your visitors have already read something you have written, are interested in what you say and have clicked to find out more.

2. Making sure that your emails get opened.

Your emails that get sent to your subscribers are clamouring for attention amongst loads of other emails so the subject line is a critical part to your list building success. Some secrets to getting people to open your email include using their name, writing in lowercase and using a series of dots…, at the end of the subject line. Using the words ‘you’, ‘your’ and ‘you’ll’ should also increase your chances of getting your email opened.

3. Monetising your list.

Once you have gained a subscriber and they are opening your emails the next thing you need to do is to make money from your list. The real secret of successful monetisation of your list is to gain a high level of trust and credibility from your subscribers and to respect the trust placed in you.

This means that you should provide useful information and content to your subscribers, right from the start. By doing this over a series of emails they will enjoy or value your emails and you will gain the required trust.

You can then recommend products or services to your subscribers and they will, in all likelihood, at least check out what you are recommending. The way you need to respect their trust is by only recommending a product or service that you have personal experience of. By consistently recommending inferior products you will quickly destroy the trust you have gained and your list will become worthless.

- A Solid Foundation

List building is a sure way to gain long term success on the internet, providing you with a solid base of potential customers. If the fickle search engines drop your sites ranking with an algorithm change you will still be able to drive traffic to your site, from your list, while you make the adjustments required.

Business Building Success Tip - Referrals and Networking

Copyright (c) 2007 Drew Stevens PhD

The best way to achieve success in a competitive market is to conduct business with those that know you and trust you. Success is based on building meaningful relationships with clients that love what you do and desire to help blow your horn. The best concepts are networking and marketing, these are the quickest paths for business success.

Cold calling, direct mail and other traditional selling methods do little to build relationships- they simply anger and frustrate. With what frequency do you take cold calls? And when was the last time you spoke with a million dollar insurance agent that cold calls?

Today’s selling professional requires techniques that help to accentuate and differentiate from others. In a business culture where social networks proliferate the only true network is that built between a client and business professional. Clients enjoy the candor and the knowledge that is shared from a vendor. To this end, there are several methods that assist selling professionals.

Networking

Truly the best selling professionals constantly network. Selling professionals by nature require constant engagement with others to comprehend business trends and meet new opportunities. For over 27 years I attend at least one to two networking events per month and I can measure these to business. Admittedly, there exist a plethora of networking associations and organizations, choose those close to your location and aligned with your business. Review your local paper for functions that interest you and attend as a guest, but go. If do not attend your competitors are. Others cannot know your business with just a shingle hanging in the breeze.

Referrals

Proper networking and selling etiquette involves referral acquisition. Similar to gaining closure agreement many professionals abhor asking for the order! Business is driven by the ability to ask for new business. If clients are happy with your work they will willingly provide others that can need to receive your value. The best way to seek referrals is when you are first engaged with the client and they are at that emotional high. More importantly you want to ask when you are in the account, since this is the best time to be top of mind. Post sale is not an alternative simply put, out of sight out of mind.

Another imperative item to remember is that there is strength in numbers, the more you obtain the fuller the pipeline. There is a story of an insurance professional that would visit clients and not leave without three new referrals. Even if the client provided one or two, the agent would not leave until he received three or more. Needless to say, the agent retired an extremely wealthy individual.

Follows up on referrals

It might seem pragmatic, yet there is much evidence to illustrate that a myriad of professionals that obtain do not follow up. Friends, family and clients typically provide these golden nuggets, so it is vital that one follows up. Call immediately after you receive a contract or verbal conceptual agreement. Begin a call with the person that referred you so that this creates immediate attention and credibility.

Positive attitude

Good networking professionals have a positive attitude. They do not carry baggage with them nor do they illustrate negative feelings should things go awry. There is the story of a business professional that greeted all with “I am awesome!” Coincidentally he did this even through attempting to fight a debilitating disease. People enjoy doing business with positive people.

Enthusiastic/Energy

Remember the donkey from Winnie the Pooh- Eye Or? This poor donkey is about as unhappy as anything I know. Sometimes listening to him is depressing enough. This is true with human relationships. Individuals desire to be around warm, energized people. Many can feel the excitement of those around them. If you want to be a memorable networker, review your image, ensure you are excited about the event, the people and your business. People feed off positive energy, enthusiasm is fuel for networking, alliances and differentiation.

Trustworthy

Candor is the most imperative issue in today’s business environment. Ironically, an important business trait constantly discussed is ethics. Appalling as it seems, there are numerous daily instances of those attempting to buck trends and gain momentum while not following rules. People will only do business with those they trust and those they respect.

Good listening skills

Remember a time when you were with someone either at a cocktail party or other event, and the person spoke and never came up for air? Bothered you didn’t it? Clients are engaged with professionals that can provide value by understanding needs and listening. Clients clamor for solutions not prescriptions and the best people understand the art of listening. Use techniques such as open and closed questions and pausing to truly understand how to assist.

Enjoys helping

It is better to give then to receive. Those that want to gain will give first. Similar to tithing, professionals must provide content to gain something. Think of tips, techniques and referrals that you too can provide. This technique is a great opener for building relationships since others will identify with your willingness to provide helpful information.

Sincere

Avid athletes concentrate on CORE. Fundamentally this is the system upon which all musculature and symmetrical principles assist to build a nutritional body. Selling and networking exercises CORE too. One of the muscles of CORE is sincerity. Differentiation is built upon a sincere desire to build relations, become personable and assist coexisting needs. Admiration is built based on trust and willingness to assist. Dale Carnegie described this in his now famous work, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. Key exemplars: 1) Talk in terms of the other person’s interests and 2) Make the other person feel important - and do it sincerely.

The key to business building and success is producing things others don’t. One needs to discover methods to rise above the din and become visible. With global competition increasing and a shift in industries requiring selling professionals there exists the need to become outstanding. There is also the issue of working smarter not harder to produce required results. Refrain from tired non-functioning sales methods and begin new strategies that can escalate your rewards and make you an outstanding performer!

The Short Guide to Affiliate Website Building Success

There are many ways you can temporarily get an edge on your affiliate competition. At least one internet marketing “guru” invents a new trend every day to help you do this (his/her goal is to sell products). The problem is that these strategies usually don’t work, and even if they do, they’re only temporary. Eventually, these strategies will hurt your business.

If you’re serious about starting a business on the internet, the easiest way to this do is to market affiliate programs. You don’t have to be an expert on anything, you don’t have to handle customer service, and you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get started.

Although there’s a lot information about marketing affiliate programs, there are some simple tweaks you can do that will jumpstart your business, and anyone can do them.

Your first step should be to build a website. There is plenty of free software available to help you build a website without knowing HTML, and you don’t have to be a genius to learn how to FTP. (This is uploading your site to the internet.)

Most affiliates never succeed in a program because they’ll market the program for only 30 days, use only the sales materials the merchant provided, and then they wonder why they aren’t rich.

If you want to succeed in any business, affiliate or not, you have to be different. Presell the merchant’s products; you can only do that if you have a website.

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy either. You can take care of two business tasks at one time by simply building a lead capture page and promoting your list. Include several emails in your series discussing the merchant’s program. Explain why it works. Give your reader real information about your topic and not just an endorsement of the merchant’s product.

If you’re a customer of the program, even better because then you know things about the product most affiliates won’t.

You can also use your website as a way of showcasing different merchant programs.

Although you need to avoid using javascript as much as possible because it isn’t search engine friendly, many merchant programs, especially on the larger sites like Commission Junction and Linkshare, have additional resources on their own sites you can use. This includes datafeeds and RSS, both search engine friendly types of code you can easily use to add self updating content to your website. This code keeps your website fresh, and the search engines will visit more often.

You’ll also find store generators you can use to generate pages for your site, and many of these only require you to add your affiliate ID, some keywords for the types of products you want to offer, and then you just copy and paste the code onto your site. Many of these store generators are now search engine friendly, making your site super search engine food, as well as unique.

You can find store generators by typing in the merchant name and adding the search term “store generator”. You can also visit the merchant’s site first to find out what tools are offered.

Finally, once you’ve developed a little technical expertise, and you understand the basics of site building and script installation, you can try your hand at some of the more basic scripts for site building. You can create anything from a full fledged Amazon store, to your own niche friendly Net Shop.

You can search for these scripts by simply typing the store you want into the the search engines, and then add the word “scripts”. For example, if you want an Amazon script, type in “free Amazon store script”. You’ll find plenty of results, and some don’t even require a database to run.

Regardless of what type of site you choose to build, whether it’s a simple list page, or a full fledged content site, make sure you build a list so you can recycle your traffic. Automation is a key ingredient in a successful business because it allows you to focus on the tasks that will make you money.

Find a few good affiliate programs you like, that pay well, do your keyword research and find an untapped market, and you’ll be well on your way to succeeding as an affiliate.
